Environmental Impact Assessment

Environmental Impact assessmentWe are able to undertake comprehensive flora, fauna and Aboriginal site assessments for your Environmental or Species Impact Statement, Environmental Audit, Review of Environmental Factors or Environmental Management Plan. Our in-house specialists collaborate with other institutions including the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Australian Museum's Centre for Biodiversity and Conservation Research and Australian and international universities to ensure that our assessments are of the highest standard.

As communication has become an increasingly important aspect of environmental assessment, our experience in consultation and liaison with government agencies and the wider community is more sought-after than ever before.

Our vast experience with environmental impact assessment procedures enables us to help our clients negotiate their way through complex state and federal environmental legislation. We are thoroughly familiar with changes to legislation and can provide advice on Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC) referrals as well as offer expert testimony and review.

Since our establishment in 1991, we have undertaken a wide range of projects for clients including telecommunications and mining companies, Roads and Traffic Authority, Sydney Water, Olympic Coordination Authority, NSW Department of Urban Affairs and Planning and NSW Department of Land and Water Conservation. Over this time AMBS Consulting projects have won several prestigious national and international awards.
